The Walk of Tears is a participatory street art project where people become co-authors — erasing the boundaries between the viewer, the artist, and the artwork itself.
This project is the reverse side of the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. On the way to success, people shed many tears — and here, each tear becomes a symbol of that journey. The artist, together with her children, goes out into the streets and paints tears that carry people’s names and stories.
Each tear is a mark of presence — a reminder that every human experience matters. Everyone is invited to leave their name on a tear we have prepared. Because the main thing is not whether you have achieved success or not — the main thing is the path itself.
Through this simple act, people join the artwork and become part of a shared living story — a space of connection, witnessing, and humanity.
